Together, we can create a Hunger Free Future
We support a nationwide network of food banks and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the World. We know it takes more than food to end hunger. That’s why we recently launched out five year strategic plan. What does the Quran say about Udhiya/Qurbani?
We have made camels part of God’s sacred rites for you. There is much good in them for you, so invoke God’s name over them as they are lined up for sacrifice, then, when they have fallen down dead, feed yourselves and those who do not ask, as well as those who do. We have subjected them to you in this way so that you may be thankful. It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches God but your piety. He has subjected them to you in this way so that you may glorify God for having guided you. (22:36-37)
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ. الكوثر-٢
The word Udhiya-Qurbani means an animal of the ‘an’aam class (i.e., camel, cow, sheep or goat) that is slaughtered during the days of Eid al-Adha because of the Eid and as an act of worship, intending to draw closer to Allah thereby. This is one of the rituals of Islam prescribed in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger , and according to the consensus of the Muslims.
Eligibility criteria for Qurbani:
A criterion has been set by Eternal Aid to decide Qurbani beneficiaries. The scoring framework depends on the following:
- Families who do not live on the basic pay for that specific country.
- Eligible for Zakat.
- Female-headed families i.e., widows, single mothers, etc.
- Families with incapacitates as well as old people.
- Pregnant ladies
An exhaustive appraisal is done by our scholars to unbiasedly distinguish the weighting and need of every one of the above
These are then applied while choosing the beneficiary families or individuals to guarantee we give to those in most need.
At Eternal Aid, Qurbani will happen in West Bengal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malawi, and UK establishments.
Alhamdulillah, meat donations provided by you give a boost of protein to malnourished families.
Here at Eternal Aid, we guarantee that we sacrifice the best quality animal to ensure the best quality of meat – all sacrificed according to the Sunnah practice of the Prophet (ﷺ)
So, as we recollect the commitment of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام) to sacrifice for Allah ﷻ, make your Qurbani with Eternal Aid and help the poor, destitute and needy.

Your Qurbani, Their Blessing
ach sacrifice brings hope and nourishment to families who struggle for daily meals.
Qurbani is the act of sacrificing an animal during Eid al-Adha to honor the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S).
Every Muslim who possesses wealth equal to or above the Nisab (minimum threshold) and is not traveling during Eid is required to perform Qurbani.
Goats, sheep, cows, bulls, and camels are permissible, provided they are healthy and free from defects.
A cow or camel can be divided into 7 shares, while a goat or sheep counts as one share for a single person.
Meat is traditionally divided into three parts: one for the family, one for relatives and friends, and one for the poor and needy.
